I'm enraptured by allegory. The way we channel human complexity into stories and symbols is so enticing. Deliberate choices are made about what to conceal from or reveal to a viewer. With enough abstraction the created vignettes will draw in an onlooker to read the visuals left behind. I enjoy setting up a scene, framed by age old devices so that an observer may explore and discover the elements on exhibit.
