We are going online!

When Rosette Studios was a brick and mortar store in downtown Springfield, MO, we had a rotating gallery show every month. The Miniature Art Show was an annual gallery show at that gallery. Let’s take a look at the show’s past, present, and future.

The Miniature Art Show had it’s start with the former owners of the business under the name “Arts & Letters.” It was a successful annual show that featured small artworks the size of a sticky note. When Chuck and I took over, we changed some things but kept the heart of the show, making Artwork accessible to EVERYONE. Participation was open to anyone and we had children as well as veteran artists bring in mini masterpieces. We had thousands of pieces up every year and it was a treat to watch people look through all the Artists and discover their favorite pieces.

Life has a way changing our course and Chuck and I found out we were expecting a baby boy. We decided a brick and mortar was not what we were interested in doing with baby in tow, so we moved out of our loved downtown space. We slowly transitioned to online laser cutting and engraving. You can see our website here. We love our business and I love being able to work from home and take care of growing explorer of the world (who just turned 1!) Although the laser cutting is such an amazing and dynamic business to work in, I longed to reconnect with the Art community and bring back the fun of searching for that favorite Art piece. With the current state of the world, I wanted to do it in a safe way that still allowed me to be a full time mom.

The exciting news is the Miniature Art Show is coming back! From years past, we have tons of amazing abandoned Artwork. We want to start with adding all that work for your browsing enjoyment and be able to purchase these works. We are working to get all of those pieces online and slowly opening the show up to submit Art again. ANYONE will be able to participate as long as they follow the guidelines. Please sign up for our new mailing list to receive updates about the launch and growth of this amazing show.
